I work with Milestones as a career strategy consultant and coach, focusing on senior professionals - mainly partners in law firms, but also senior people in accountancy and finance.

The work is about navigating career transitions: approaching retirement without knowing what comes next, considering a move but uncertain about options, wanting change but not knowing how to make it happen. These are accomplished professionals facing questions they've rarely had to ask themselves.

I bring practical experience of professional services firms, research into how senior professionals actually experience career transitions, and a focus on realistic options rather than aspirational thinking. I don't do generic coaching - this work requires understanding the specific pressures and possibilities of professional services careers.

Bridge Support

I consult to Bridge Support, a charity providing supported living to people with enduring mental ill health across South East London and Essex. I was Chair of Trustees for ten years before moving into a consulting role in 2025.

I provide high-level strategic support and advice to the CEO and Executive Team across governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, policy development, property matters, and organisational development.

This isn't legal work - Bridge Support has lawyers. It's drawing on expertise and judgment gained from 40+ years advising organisations and understanding how governance, risk, and operations work together in practice.

Bridge Support is a substantial organisation with significant responsibilities to vulnerable people and to statutory funders. The work requires getting the governance and compliance right while supporting the Executive Team to run the organisation effectively.
